Austrian Composers’ Day 2015
Just a short write-up about the Austrian Composers’ Day 2015. I have to say, I really enjoyed Clemens Wenger (5/8 in Ehr’n“, JazzWerkstatt Wien) on stage, talking about how he earns a living. Quite a bit of good input there!
Furthermore, Andy Baum spoke very well as well, discussing the current Urheberrecht in Austria and what good and bad sides it has to it.
Very interesting talk by Thomas Böhm (IFPI Austria) about how and why physical CDs are still a viable thing in Austria, while they tend to become more and more obsolete in the States.
All in all, it was all very informative, so thanks to Komponistenbund for organizing that!
